Ring of Zahard

 

To reverse engineer this prop we first started by finding the best source image possible and cleaned it up:

The next step was creating the detailed 3D model in Rhinoceros using the reference images as a guide:

As a final proof check before 3D printing we did a product render to asses the overall feel of the design:

With all the design work done the last step was to get the ring 3D printed in a very high detail plastic and paint it red:
